01In detail
The accessory in detail.
The Thule 982 Frame Adapter is a tool that allows you to easily mount your bike to bike carriers. This extendable adapter (560 - 670 mm) helps you mount bikes that do not have a standard frame, including women's bikes, BMX bikes, and mountain bikes. You place the adapter between the seat post and the handlebars, allowing you to easily place the bike on the bike rack behind your car and transport it safely. This bike frame adapter also offers additional protection for fragile bike frames such as carbon.
